Upcoming Date

Just a reminder to all of our family and friends. Olivia Marie has an appointment at Riley Childrens Hospital on Jan 12th.This means that the weekend before her test she will be given real formula and then tested. If she passes the test that means good things, if she doesn't pass she will have to be a very strict diet and be tested one year later. Please pray if it is God's will that she will show NO signs of galatosemia. This would really mean alot to our family.

Christmas with Family

We had a great time with the family. We had Matthew for maybe 45 minutes so we made the best of that situation. Makenzie and Ellie were so fun to watch their expressions. How they would scream with delight over some cheap little toy. I think they liked their ZuZu pets maybe the best.. Olivia was to small this year but she got into the wrapping.. So glad that Mom & Dad were there with us we had a great time.

Baby dedication..

Yesterday Olivia Marie was dedicated. She is 6 mts.old and we love her so much. She was dedicated by Rev. Robert Thompson (my uncle). Uncle Bob helped marry Harold & I. also dedicated both of our children so Katressa thought it was only appropriate for him to dedicate her baby. It was a very special moment for our family. Granna and Paps are going to do their best to help Olivia learn of Jesus and his love for her..

Christmas Gifts..

Just wanted to share some pictures of our little Christmas gifts. We are so thankful that God has blessed us with our little bundles of joy. This will be Matthew's second Christmas although I don't think that he remembers last years since he was only 3 months old. This year will be Olivia Marie's first Christmas... My what a difference grandchildren make. And to think that I didn't think I would like being a grandparent..

Upcoming Test

Olivia Marie will be going to Riley Hospital on Jan. 12th,2010 for her stress test. We are praying that she will have no sign of galactosemia. Please join us and pray about this situation, God knows all about it..

Our grandbabies

Here are some pictures of the babies. Harold's sister Charlotte came through last Sat. on her way back home and stopped to visit and was able to see both grandbabies. She was rather taken with Miss. Olivia I hear, Matthew was being shy so she didn;t get to hold him much. Olivia was of course a ladybug for her first Halloween. We are having a great time with the grandchildren. Can't wait to make more memories.

Special Prayer Needed Again!

Matthew and his Mother Lauren both have h1n1. Matthew is running high fever like Olivia done. Please pray for them both. God has this under control.

Thanking God !

I want to thank God for touching Olivia. She has NO fever now, still congested which they say is normal for this. She didn't lose any weight which is also a good thing. I want to say thank you to all that said a prayer for her.

Olivia has tested postive for the h1n1 viruse. Please prayer that her fever will go away. I know that God is able to make her well and I'm trusting him for protection for her...

While Mom is away the kids will ?????

Stay with Aunt Nettie.... Denise went out of town for a wedding and Leighton had to stay behind and work so I helped him out with the kids. Picked them up on Thursday and they went home on Saturday. We had a great time. Ben made breakfast on friday morning with his own recipe for eggs which included: onions,chesse & jalepenos. Cammie helped me give Olivia a bath and then we headed up tp Incredible Pizza and we had a blast.. It was hard to pull Cammie away from Katressa & John's dogs. She absoluetly loved them. We had a lot of fun and hope to do it again sometime...

Happy 1st Birthday Matthew

Hard to believe that our little grandson had his first birthday on Sunday Sept.20th.. Time sure does fly. We were able to get Matthew after his other birthday party. We had a great time!! I can't believe how much one can love as a grandma!!!! We love you Matthew!!!

Good things come to those who wait!!

Well at our Mother-Daughter banquet last year I won a dozen of roses that were just beautiful and they were in a crystal pitcher that was just as beautiful, but for SOME reason I wasn't allowed to have the pitcher( although it was clear ro me that it should have been mine). Among my flea market searches I found a pitcher like it so I wanted to show it off especially to Amy....

Memories from the past!

I have been wanting to get a couple of pieces of dishes that my mom and grandmother had. Well I was finally able to find some that I could afford. The plate with the wheat design was the same pattern that my Grandma Krodel had, I remember eating pumpkin pie on plates like these also I remember eating chili out of the soup bowls.. Then the pattern of the pitcher Mom had the whole set at one time and she said that this pitcher was her favorite and I really got a bargain on this one. It's so funny how just a dish can unblock memeories from your past. I am happy to add these to my collection.
