If my Mother was posting this she could give you ALL the details, but since she isn't I will tell you what I know about it! Today Feb.28, 1952 my oldest sister was born, Diane Elaine was the name that she was given. (not fair she got a pretty name)! She was one of those lucky people that was born on leap year. She used to tell me that she only aged every four years, as a kid I didn't know any better! She was a very special lady. I remember that after she got married and moved away she would have us out for supper or Angie & I would stay overnight, she could make fried chicken like Mom (another talent I didn't aquire) and she made wonderful meatballs. She like to sew and do crafts. I still have a jacket that she made for me, I just can't part with it. Diane's favorite flower was yellow roses. Too soon she was taken from us and part of our family has never been the same. I just wanted to take a moment to remember her and express my feelings. I still miss you Sis, and wish you could have had the chance to meet my family!

Today is a day of mixed feelings. Kyle is moving out (again)! I have to say one part of me is happy because I get my craft room back, but I am going to miss seeing Matthew every day. I have gotten used to him being here in the evenings when I come home from work. I love feeding him and giving him his baths every night. I know it hasn't been easy on Kyle either coming back home after being on his own. We will miss both of these guys very much. The welcome mat is always out for them. I will have to go through the "empty nest" thing all over again! Love you all!!

I really did try to get this this posted yesterday but once again I failed! I hope that you had a great birthday Charlotte. We love you and appreciate you very much. You are the fire in the family. I remember Mom Mom always saying that you were her true Valentine. She was very proud of you Charlotte and she loved you very much. She always talked about how smart that you are!!!(and your related to Dorcas & Harold). I hope that you know how much we love you and we do hope that you had a wonderful birthday.
